HypnoBirthing® is a tried and trusted childbirth method for you to achieve a satisfying, relaxing, stress free and natural birth. You and your birthing partner will learn how to properly prepare for childbirth by using your body’s own natural relaxant thus lessening or eliminating discomfort and the need for medication.

You will learn how to release your prior programming about birth and how to trust and work with your body to follow your own natural birthing instincts. You will be in full control and fully aware whilst being extremely relaxed.

The HypnoBirthing® Course

The HypnoBirthing® course will be taught over 4 sessions each lasting approx 2.5 hours. A good time to start a course is from around 26 weeks onwards. You’ll need to spend time practicing the relaxation and breathing techniques that you learn so the more time you have the better! Although don’t worry if you’re getting close to your birth – get in touch and we can discuss a modified course to suit your needs.

• Preparing your mind and body for birthing
• Avoiding artificial induction and episiotomy

Courses are taught by Andrea who is qualified in hypnotherapy, coaching, massage and complimentary therapies. She has also had two calm water-HypnoBirths herself - one in hospital and one in a birthing centre. As we also run courses in baby massage, yoga and coaching you can get to know other couples on the course and can then catch up with them again with your baby!
